      The program is great for practicing French and spending time in France.

      Cons

      It is extremely disorganized; there is no form of support. Also the "benefits," such as healthcare, you never actually get access to because the bureaucracy moves so slowly. The whole program is just a huge drain, personally and financially.

      Pros

      I loved working as a teaching assistant in a French high school. It was very rewarding and I liked my colleagues.

      Cons

      The compensation for this job is very low. Additionally, you are only able to work for a few hours a week and can’t pursue other employment opportunities in the country not related to teaching English. I couldn’t stay more than one year due to the low amount of hours and compensation.
