Pros
TFA provides great leadership experience and it is unusual to get as much responsibility as a classroom teacher in other positions. TFA also has strong brand recognition and the experience will help you transition to other experiences.
Cons
TFA is not for everyone. If you're someone who needs a lot of hand-holding or prefer to learn at a slow pace, then this experience is not for you. But if you are a natural leader, like being challenged to the extreme, and enjoy working with others (and kids), then it could be for you. It is an extremely fast-paced learning experience.
