Pros

I've only been with the Company for 6 months, but so far I have no complaints. There is a really collaborative and open office environment, where everyone is able to approach anyone with questions/queries and get support. This is includes the C-suite members that sit with everyone in the open-plan office. There is a lovely culture where people want to spend time with each other, not just as colleagues. The work I'm doing is challenging and I know it's genuinely contributing to the business.

Cons

The benefits package could be better, but the HR team spoke openly about this and what they're going to do to fix it. Not a particularly diverse company, but that could be due to the industry.

Pros

Supportive team culture: Colleagues are collaborative, approachable, and willing to help across functions, which makes complex operational tasks easier to manage. Exposure to institutional workflows: The role provides strong hands‑on experience with processes such as settlement, reconciliation, onboarding, and trade lifecycle management. Fast-paced environment: Great place for someone who enjoys problem‑solving and learning quickly. You gain broad knowledge of systems, platforms, and institutional client needs. Autonomy and responsibility: You’re trusted to take ownership of tasks, build process improvements, and contribute directly to operational efficiency. Professional growth: Opportunities to develop operational, analytical, and communication skills that are valuable long term. Taurex is a solid place to build operational expertise, especially if you enjoy responsibility, variety, and a collaborative team. The environment can be demanding at times, but it also provides meaningful opportunities to develop your skills and have a direct impact.

Cons

Workload can be high at peak periods: Month-end cycles, system changes, and ad-hoc institutional requests can create pressure and require prioritization. Processes may still be evolving: Due to a growing and scaling environment, some workflows are still being refined, which can require adaptability. Cross-team communication can vary: Coordination across departments sometimes requires follow-up to ensure alignment.
