Staffing is insufficient. Company needs to commit adequate resources for new initiatives or make harder choices - too many balls in the air right now. Collaboration across US/Europe time zones is challenging and delays communication and decision making. Tenured people have little recent exposure to newer tech and trends. Tech salaries are low compared to industry. Maybe irrelevant as salary bands are dropping?
