Pros

-Teammate first culture -Quarterly Employee Satisfaction Survey. Acknowledges employee feedback and executes popular suggestions -Wellness programs -Scholarship programs -Cool YEPs and company events, great travel/experience perks for top performing employees -Free meals (voluntary donations go to chosen beneficiaries) -Broad upskill training options and free courses related or unrelated to current role -Generous merit increase system; bi-annual -Hassle free time off filing -Minimal over time -Employee engagement activities -Excellent life coaches -Great workplace ambience

Cons

-Lower base salary compared to other BPOs in NCR offering the same roles -Low salary ceiling -HMO lacks vision coverage, poor network of dental health providers -(Just my opinion and observation, it may not be happening to every team) People person/always visible sometimes have the advantage of getting promoted than high performing/below the radar members -Too much employee freedom sometimes lean toward entitlement and senior/leader disrespect

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
