Pros
Compensation and leadership development is top notch. I had the opportunity to attend workshops with other interns that were informative. They have all of the materials to train you to be a successful intern, and then leave it to the intern and store managers to direct how the intern influences the store.
Cons
As an intern at my store my expectations were not clear, and I had several different managers telling me different things. I realized quickly that execs and the store manager seemed stressed out and at times unproductive. I was the first intern for the store manager, and it clearly showed in that she had contradicting advice on developmental feedback each week. I had to commute (paid time out of my 40 hrs a week) 6 hours round trip several times, which majorly affected my availability at the store and staying on the deadlines I created for my internship project.
