Pros
they have a great opportunity to advance further up the ladder. a good environment overall and everyone there is friendly and happy to be at work here. the clientele are often understanding of a retail environment, and a sales position isn't too difficult because most people are easy to deal with and have small demands. there are many different positions and environments within the store depending on the interaction (if any) you want to have with customers. The management promotes a team oriented workplace and has two meetings a day will all the sales floor to talk about sales forecasts and such.
Cons
many of the customers dont understand the retail working environment and take things over the top by expecting too much. much like many sales jobs the customer is "always right" yet they rarely are. When there are complicated customers, and you can't handle it professionally you will get talked to about it and the more people you know the better off you will be as a result. There are places that pay better but the benefits are relatively hard to match at other companies to compete with this one. the more you get used to the work environment the easier it gets.
