Pros
Money is decent, the work isn't difficult and you can make some great friends there as I did. You will learn much about the retail sector and customer service!
Cons
Very poor management, with a distinct lack of accountability. You can't report bullying by a manager as they are all in each other's pockets. Staff are expected to clean the store to an inch if a state manager comes in for a look, and everyone is to pretend the store always looks like that. Why sugar coat it? Lack of money meant cut shifts, and twice as much pressure to do two peoples job when on shift. Managers often hired their own kids or friends and gave them desirable shifts and hours. A culture of managers getting drunk with staff also meant favoritism for opportunities to progress, giving the rest of us quiet ones who didn't party no chance and always feeling on the outer whilst they would discuss who had done what the night before.
