Pros
The benefits are amazing 20 days PTO in addition to sick time, summer fridays all year round, hybrid, excellent health insurance I paid almost nothing out of pocket each paycheck, bonus 10% based on how well the business does, 401K matching up to 5%. onsite discounted cafeteria with sushi bar, higher pay than some places, flexible schedule and cool events. I had a mostly good team but it can really depend.
Cons
Departments have very uneven budgets one will have huge parties while the other is scrimping by and doesn't get the same benefits. A corporate strategic culture that can undercut people by senior management. They do reorganizations which really is a strategic layoff so they don't have to report it and affect stock and the business. Many people "retired" early and others had their positions eliminated due to budget but then new roles will open up and people will get promoted at the expense of others who lost their roles. They are nice to employees' faces. They will tell people that they will have growth and development and that things are doing well and provide trust and reassurance and then cut people out of nowhere. Managers do not go to bat for their employees.
