Pros
- Prior to joining Talkdesk, I was also slightly worried because of the negative reviews I saw. However, I was glad that when I joined, things have changed. - Complains about the lack of resources for the SDR / Sales Team has been resolved, and you probably will have more tools that you need now. Kudos to the leadership/management team for this. - The company is growing really fast. We're a Series D funded company, and IPO seems to be on the way. - The CCaaS industry is a good place to be in now, and many companies are trying to come out with their own CCaaS offering (Even Google!). But it's hard to compare to a Gartner Leader in CCaaS like Talkdesk. - Overall, the environment is something important to me. And from my experience across the past few months, I can say that many people have a 'winning' attitude. And that's the most important. You want to be in an environment where you can feel motivated every day. - As a SDR, I've sat in a couple of demos and we truly have a product that people love, especially the interface and ease of use.
Cons
- As with every fast-growing company, the usual cons are present. For example, some processes may not be the best, but the management is open to change, although it will take time. - However, there aren't many things that are preventing me from hitting my quota other than myself. Resources are plentiful and I have great colleagues. - The product may not be built for truly large enterprise companies yet, but there is a huge opportunity for us when the company is 5000 employees and below.
