Japanese Style working environment - Associate Takaratomy Employee Review

It was always so fun to work in the toy industry. Got to know a lot of details about the upcoming movies and tv shows to make toys for. Half day fridays in the summer.

As an intern it was some time hard to find something to do.

First job out of college, it was nice to get some experience in my field.

I am constantly treated like I am stupid and incompetent solely for the fact that I am young and a temporary employee. I am talked over in meetings and never listened to. Good work goes unnoticed and you can forget about being treated with any respect. I am lied to on daily basis about condition of company and how long I was hired to temp for. I work 40 hours a week going on over a year now, but have not been given any benefits, PTO, or unpaid sick days. No advancement opportunities. You are a number, never a person. Constant lay-offs. Managers are pretty bad and rarely have a clue to what is going on. Very Unstable company. I don't recommend working here. I am quitting very soon.
