Pros
If you are competent, you can get a job. If government contract, pay is good, otherwise not. A few good leaders, trainers. Work may not be demanding, but schedule is strict. Quality review is sometimes fair, sometimes nit-picky. Co-workers are usually friendly.
Cons
Team lead has incentive to be over-demanding. Bonus is often just out of reach because of tricks with quality review. Equipment is outdated, bad CRTs, poor audio quality, no limit on sound volume to protect worker. Expect some bad behavior from co-workers. Training and professional relationship is often set to lowest level of co-workers--disappointing if you are experienced and professional. I'm referring to a big temporary project, but I worked here before and things weren't much better.
