You raise a valid point — obviously relative to the job you were hired for specifically, but also given the of the IT industry, knowledge is constantly evolving and new skills are always being developing and nurtured — so yes, there can be things to always learn.
Throughout the entire hiring and interview process, every candidate is fully informed and aware of the requirements of the position they're interviewing for, naturally. And that would include any possibility for on-call requirements. We take great pride in the people we hire, as we say constantly, we value top technical expertise and we only hire the best and brightest, putting our clients first and hiring the best people to ensure things get done right.
You also touched on a point that we're proud to offer all of our employees — we strongly encourage a healthy work/life balance, as cliche as that may seem now, it can often be a rarity in the workforce. We aim to be as flexible as possible, even adopting an open vacation policy years ago — we encourage our people to take the time they need, whenever they need it.
