Pros
Good opportunities to open your horizon.
Cons
When I first joined TSMC, I was filled with excitement and anticipation. However, my experience with the company turned out to be quite disappointing. The work environment was highly competitive, with little collaboration among team members. It felt like everyone was out for themselves, and there was a lack of support and mentorship. Furthermore, the work-life balance at TSMC was non-existent. The long working hours and high expectations left me feeling burnt out and drained. There was little consideration for personal well-being, and it seemed like the company valued work over everything else. Additionally, the management at TSMC was distant and unapproachable. There was a clear hierarchy, and it was challenging to voice concerns or provide feedback. This lack of transparency and communication made it difficult to understand the company's direction and goals. Moreover, the opportunities for growth and development were limited. Promotions were based on seniority rather than merit, which meant that talented individuals were often overlooked. There was a lack of training programs and resources to help employees enhance their skills and advance their careers. In conclusion, my experience at TSMC was far from what I had hoped for. The competitive work environment, poor work-life balance, distant management, and limited growth opportunities made it a disappointing experience. I would not recommend TSMC to those seeking a supportive and fulfilling work environment.
