Pros

The building's air conditioned, which honestly felt like the only decent thing most days.

Cons

Upon my arrival, I expected the chance to learn something valuable and bring fresh ideas to the table. Instead, I walked into a place completely allergic to change or outside input, and it became more aggravating with every passing day. An entrenched clique has been doing everything the exact same way for years and refuses to hear a single different opinion, and that mindset infects the entire culture. Everyone drifts through each day on autopilot because speaking up accomplishes absolutely nothing. Management constantly claims to want engagement, yet every suggestion gets dismissed before you can even finish speaking, and it becomes painfully obvious your perspective means nothing unless you're already part of the favored group. Eventually, you stop caring enough to try because there is no reason to waste the effort. The worst part is this place could actually improve, but that potential is being completely squandered because the entire atmosphere suffocates growth and punishes anyone trying to make things better.

Pros

The work involves dealing with different systems, fixes, and improvements. There’s enough independence to handle your tasks, no constant check-ins and follow-ups. When something stumps you, team members are there to help you. Over time, you get better at understanding how different parts connect and how to approach issues more efficiently. The salary is alright. I think it’s a good place for people who like problem-solving and hands-on work.

Cons

Not a workplace where you can take long coffee breaks and lunches -- there's a lot to do.
