There's room to grow for self-starters, and a lot of flexibility in structuring your career path. You work with some talented people across the country, and with cross-discipline teams comprised of folks from private and public sectors. It's a good place for people who want to manage their own careers and who don't need much feedback or support from their superiors.
Cons
Management and human resource decisions are made ad hoc and then incompletely communicated to staff. Human resources staff and benefits change annually. Internal IT services are not dependable.
