Pros

- Happy Hour every Friday, if not every Friday then every other Friday - Giving trips - trips that allow employees to see how TOMS gives, thus far you really see shoe giving, eye sight giving is rare, and water/birth doesn't exist. - Coffee bar with barista in the mornings - lattes, cappucino, drip coffee, ice water, ice coffee and etc. It mirrors our TOMS Roasting Co experience. - Outdoor area with wifi to work at - this is nice when you need vitamin D. - Option to stand and work - there are places but its becoming more and more rare. - Sofas and little areas to escape and do some work - Hammocks outdoors - Fitness area that hold lunch classes - I've attended this on a rare occasion, they have 50 minute classes which let's you hop in showers but there are only 3 showers so you may have to wait your turn. - Showers and changing room areas - its small but we have it. - Employee Discounts and discounts with other like-minded brands - 50% off most items, there are some restrictions and we receive discounts through our employee portal that ranges in discounts. - Annual retreat that serves as team building - this turns into a party most of the time with alcohol and hook ups. It's a young company and there are a lot of singles. - Nice open concept office - You can walk around and sit anywhere you want and work. - For the most part, people are very nice and friendly. - Career Opportunities - while its not fully transparent, it is possible but you have to know the right people and be in the right place. Just like any other company. If you are friends with the founder, you are in a fast track.

Cons

- miscommunication, lack of direction, different objectives and goals from all ends, leaderships, managers, departments (I've been here for a while and its been like this the entire time). The change of direction happens on a frequent basis. - lack of leadership - the company tends of cycle through leadership pretty frequently, especially when they don't agree with our founder, or is on a 'friend' basis. Every time a new leader comes on board, there is on boarding and ramping up time which affects the business. - people who shout the loudest and talk the most, are often the ones that get recognition, not the people who work to keep the company going. (This is why the company goes through massive turnover on an annual basis) - People that work in this company are very passive aggressive, people don't want to say what is reality and often run around in circles rather than attacking an issue head on. - HR - the team itself seems like its made up of great people but how effective they are is questionable. It is known that they are all compensated well however the result of that is 0 to none. - Giving - it was once a main focus however now its been pushed aside, we used to have a giving team but they've been placed all over the place. It was told to us that this was to incorporate giving more, but we all know the truth. Giving comes second, not first. - Our founder, while he came up with a great idea and started a great company, that is no longer a priority for him. He seems very disconnected (and its probably due to the people he surrounds himself), he really is looking for a celeb status more than actually helping.

Pros

Limited opportunities for career growth. Work hours can vary depending on business needs and seasonal demand.

Cons

Provide clearer career development paths and improve communication between management and employees. More consistent scheduling would also be appreciated.
