Pros
They like to have fun, some like Halloween and a few dress up and participate, that was nice to see. They like potlucks. This was pre-COVID 19. Adaptation to COVID-19 lockdown was smoother than a lot of larger companies. Many people were able to transition to WFH. You can learn about the industry from a non-siloed role but that means you're doing a lot of work that really should be given to multiple people. Benefits are affordable and decent. You can see a specialist without too much fuss from insurance claims. Direct deposit.
Cons
Very limited career progression. Someone has to vacate a role for the next person to interview / be considered for it. There is a long waiting period before you can make progress. Long hours, long days. Micromanagement, micromanagement, micromanagement. I did not find the environment cohesive.
