Pros

Working at TLS.NET has offered lots of opportunities to learn new skills and technologies. Employees are treated with respect and have close relationships with management. Work is fairly independent and employees have a decent amount of independence. There are lots of company events and chances to get to know your coworkers. Management is open to ideas and employees are treated with respect. Departmental teams have a strong sense of comradery. Hard work is recognized and correction is given kindly.

Cons

Employee benefits are not great (not terrible but could be better). Vacation time has a clear formula for growth but is less than my previous jobs. There is also no sick time so if you get sick it eats up vacation time. There is not a clear path for job/salary growth. When looking at a long term career it would be nice to have an idea of how growth is achieved.

Pros

As a current TLS.NET employee, I can honestly say that I look forward to coming into the office every day. A typical day allows for a variety in job responsibilities, and a reasonable workload with the opportunity to never stop learning. Management is willing to play to your strengths, and often offers the chance to consider what projects you would like to be involved in for the future, based on those strengths .You won't find them breathing down your neck, and barking orders. There is no disconnect between the executive team and entry-level employees - something many companies seem to struggle with – In fact, management definitely recognizes the importance of performing as a team and building comradery with your co-workers. During the summer, we have cookouts, and 2nd Friday of the month Happy Hour at a local pub. This is the most likable group of coworkers I’ve ever worked alongside, and can tell that HR values character when hiring for a position here. Overall, I'm proud to work for a cunning-edge technology firm that has served local and nationwide businesses for over 30 years - It's good to know I have a stable career-path and can continue to grow alongside the company.

Cons

At TLS.NET, you’re in control of your own success and given the resources to do well – this means you won’t be able to blame someone else for poor performance. Depending on what kind of person you are, this is either a huge plus, or you just lost your scapegoat. If you're not a person who likes to put in the work and hold themselves accountable, this probably isn't the place for you.
