Pros

The pay is good for a remote part-time job. It's not enough to live off, but it's enough to make this position a worthwhile side hustle comparable to a summer job at McDonald's. Part-time with the ability to choose when and how long to work. Just remember to work at least once a week. TELUS is dedicated to improving its employees. Their resources are vast, including guidelines, video guides, and quizzes. They also encourage improvement through feedback and reviews related to your problem activities. The hiring process will show you a day in the life of a rater with TELUS Digital, allowing you to see if the job is for you while they learn what you can do.

Cons

TELUS Digital is pretty strict when it comes to its standards. They want you to meet the time estimate they've applied to each assignment with little margin of error. If you get even one part of an assignment wrong, they will view it as incorrect. If they think you are struggling with an aspect of your job, they will assign you training to improve it. The job has barely any interactions with coworkers or higher-ups. While there are exceptions life employee life showcases and mental health advice, they don't change the lonely nature of the work done as a rater.

Pros

Company culture is very relaxed and laid back. The people who work here build some of the best products for the biggest clients in the world. Bar-none, I’ve never worked with more intelligent and passionate people ever. There is pride in efficiency, quality, and so much more.

Cons

Management is very… out of touch? Not at their own fault to be clear, but out of business processes. It’s difficult for them to grow and promote employees because they’re constantly shifted from one team to the next. The pay is “Meh” at best, and nowhere near the industry standard, but it is safe.
