Pros
got one month of experience in accounting and ended up getting a WFH job doing the same thing with better pay and a work to life balance.
Cons
The expectations were unreasonable from the start—they handed me extremely escalated accounts and expected immediate resolutions. Despite this, I managed to resolve two accounts and rebill over $80K in past-due amounts. Less than a week later, I was fired, with them claiming I had ‘performance issues,’ which they spread to my colleagues. The senior manager gave me verbal approval to leave early due to health issues, only to lie the next day, claiming I never had permission. And to top it off, after I was let go, the manager told people not to contact me outside of work. How would I even know that if they were actually following that directive? It’s all incredibly shady and unprofessional. Good luck to all the new people that have my old accounts.
