Pros

Great opportunities to learn. TL provides training on some topics as long as there is a profitable need. Majority of the people are nice and easy to get on with. The social environment is great. People are always around to talk to, answer questions and support each other when they can. Socials are amazing. TL puts on great events for employees. They're trying to be an inclusive workplace but there is no capacity for people to help.

Cons

As you can see from the other reviews, management is a mess. I've seen petty arguing, awful communication between teams and ignorance of work effort. Senior leadership are rude. They don't know how to deliver feedback effectively, making people feel at fault when something they weren't trained on isn't done correctly. TL has off standards of work. Many layers of approval. Lots of quick u-turns without proper explanation. And lots of hushed conversations. There is no transparency. Senior leadership/management have huge egos and what they say goes. They don't need to explain why because 'that's how TEAM LEWIS does it'. Apart from shoutout in Zoom chats or an occasional TL oscar win, no one gets recognition or validation for their work. Bonus was given this summer, but unless you're earning over £35k it doesn't help too much. Many people are on poor salaries and a fed the promise for a review, but never hear back. It constantly feels like nothing is every good enough for them. People are constantly leaving and there's so many reasons for why. Quiet bullying is one of them. People at TL are quick to point the finger. The whole team effort goes out the window when something is wrong and people look to blame a singular person. Senior leadership can never admit their own faults. Many of the senior leadership team bump heads and talk to eachother in petty, unprofessional ways. The company preaches how good the leadership is (so much so that they've now got training external courses on it) but none of the team actually knows how to lead. If your manager is stressed, you will be too. If your manager is pissed off, you will feel the wrath. The constant overworking brings out the worst in people and it is constantly happening in the office. My manager was the worst for this and would constantly make me feel like I couldn't do my job. TL tries to be an inclusive workplace. They have a whole team dedicated for it. As part of the team, I can see that no one has the time to help. Everyone wants to put time and energy into it but they can't because they're overworked. To TL, D,E&I is an optional thing and they need to realise the value of inclusive working. Not for clients but for overall workplace mentality. They also need their HR team to be educated on all matters too. The HR team have an ineffective way of dealing with complaints, especially relating to D,E&I activities. Speaking of HR, you can't speak to them. They are very cliquey and will gossip about you to their team and other people. If you're stressed. Try the Calm app. Manager is being rude. Have you tried the Calm app. They cannot deal with any hierarchical bullying because they don't have the authority to do anything. They're useless. TL has no regard to your for your career path. They promise apprentices, grads and new joiners the freedom of training and flexibility. But then they take it away. Reviews? Managers aren't required to do those. Goals? No one is ever set goals. Instead, people are forced onto accounts they don't want to be on. Forced into roles they don't want to be in. Forced into any area TL needs help in, even if you are not proficient in it. They will overwork you in areas you have no skills in and blame you for any issues.
