Pros

Some of the people are awesome. That's about it.

Cons

As a former member of Team Lewis, I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience with this company, which I can only describe as a complete disaster. The Glassdoor reviews barely scratch the surface of the underlying issues that plague this organization. From poor salaries to a toxic work culture, it is evident that TEAM LEWIS is far from the dream workplace it claims to be. First and foremost, salaries are low compared to industry standards which they try to justify with lavish parties (more details to follow) and an occasional bonus (one month's salary. Pathetic.) The management seems to think that a mere monetary incentive can compensate for underappreciation and exploitation. This approach only serves to further demoralize the already disenchanted staff. It's no surprise that talented employees often seek greener pastures elsewhere, leading to a high turnover rate. Promotions within TEAM LEWIS are more like a popularity contest than a recognition of skills and achievements. This has resulted in an environment where the most deserving employees are often overlooked in favor of those who are better at making friends with the 'right' people. One of the most appalling aspects of LEWIS is its penchant for hosting lavish parties and events to try to distract employees from the glaring issues within the company. These extravagant gatherings are nothing but a facade to portray an image of success, while the core problems remain unaddressed. Senior leadership is filled with many who contribute nothing substantial to the company. Their constant absence and lack of availability for crucial tasks are justified by the excuse that they have families to attend to. Or they spend all day on task force calls which accomplish nothing and waste half the day. As a result, the younger, hardworking employees are left to shoulder the burden of the work, leading to a cascade of burnout and frustration. Furthermore, the San Diego office feels more like a clique than a professional workspace. Colleagues spend more time socializing over drinks (during the work day and icing each other and posting pics on Zoom) than actually working. Meanwhile, the other offices and teams are...working. In conclusion, TEAM LEWIS is a prime example of delusion and mismanagement at its worst. The organization is a sinking ship that shows no signs of course correction. For the sake of your career and sanity, go elsewhere.
