Pros
— You're working for the best: hands down best discount brokerage in Canada. — Tons of promotion opportunity, particularly in the Toronto area. — Top notch pension (defined benefit) and benefits. — A lot of great people work at this bank... really good co-workers.
Cons
— You get paid more to leave for a promotion than to stay for a promotion. Banks pay top dollar for external talent but much less for internal talent. — Toronto-focused: if you're not in Toronto, promotion opportunities can be limited. — Little innovation: if you're looking to change the world and leave a better place for your children to grow up in, the Bank may not be the place for you.
