TCG actually lives up to it’s core values. They share their financials with employees every quarter, showing they are Fair, Honest, Open. You can email the CEO with a question and actually get not only an answer but something to back it up. If you want to switch projects, they work with you to try and make it happen. They believe in the people they hire and want to keep them.
The perqs are the real deal. One small example, one of the biggest events in DC sports and the tickets went to someone who had been at TCG for a few months. They weren’t taken by some executive. If there is a perq they don’t have, let them know and they’ll work on it.
The work life balance is unmatched.
I have telecommuted since day 1.
Cons
Accruing vacation quicker but you can also purchase extra time if you need it early in your tenure.
