TBHC Delivers Response
9yWe are very disappointed that your experience working for TBHC Delivers does not match our corporate values or mission. Our Company Purpose is to transform lives through great food experiences; and our Mission includes relentlessly finding passionate people to carry out our Purpose and Vision. We do have a hard-working environment, and our Account Managers (who work the 4-day workweeks) are scheduled for 56 hour workweeks (14-hour days). We discuss this thoroughly during the interviewing process for the Account Manager (route sales driver) and even include a ride-along day in that process so that candidates can experience a full, real day in the life of an Account Manager. Our customers depend on our employees to be the best we can be, to help their businesses grow. It’s what our CEO and owner built this Company on, and it’s that passion that we recruit for that keeps our Company strong in our industry!
In the last 5 years, our turnover has decreased steadily; our turnover rate is currently under 20% which is lower than industry standard for the type of responsibilities that our employees perform. Since 2012, we haven’t had a single employee leave during the first week of employment, in any role. Recruitment can take more time than we would like. We recruit not only for skills, but sometimes even more so for the passion and the desire to be part of a great environment; something that’s bigger than a job, or a profit - not just for someone to fill a seat. Our customers’ businesses depend on us to help them grow their foodservice offerings in their Convenience Stores. We recently conducted an anonymous survey of our Account Managers to get a sense for why they like it here, and what they say keeps them here. Some of the comments we heard:
• I’m a driven, results-oriented individual. TBHC gives me the opportunity to take ownership of my route. The more I put in to the job, the more dividends it pays in regard to monetary compensation.
• It doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do. I like to go on vacation and when it’s over I’m not worried about going back to work because I love it. Never had that feeling before. No worries.
• I love the opportunity every day to be a blessing and feel like I am truly helping.
• Our program has a tremendous impact on store owners and employees. I love sharing in their success and helping them when they are struggling.
• The company culture. It works on bringing the best out of people.
We appreciate your comments here, and want to reiterate our regret that your experience was not a positive one. We know that people will come and go from our organization for a lot of different reasons; however, we want to be a place that, no matter why someone leaves, they feel they are better off for having worked here.
