Pros
The Company has a relatively small size (25-30 employees) but offers software solutions for a very complex market (Structured finance, leasing) - I have joined the company as an intern and I have enjoyed multiple promotions and significant pay raises in a short period of time. - The complexity of the industry we support create challenges. However, management provides great training and has an open door policy to answer any questions or concerns. You will be provided with all the tools in order to succeed. -Expectations are high but they align with the vision that the company has. You will be involved in all aspects of the projects and your opinion will matter. - My coworkers are definitely the biggest asset of this company. I am surrounded by very bright and intelligent individuals with different personalities and from a diverse backgrounds. -There is no micro management. You will be very autonomous. All they really care about is integrity and results... as long as you communicate well. -You will also have multiple social events and pizza lunch at the office.
Cons
This is a software company so you can expect the workload to be a bit overwhelming during the different releases across the year. However, the agile scrum management style at TAO allows for a better planning.
