Pros
Aviation is in my blood, and I would be lost without it. TAC Air does a good job (by the very nature of the business we’re in) of incorporating that interest into your everyday activities. Meeting new people, enjoying good conversation with flight crews you’ve become friends with, cultivating other professional relationships with people.
Cons
Local management is abrasive, unapproachable, and shows little empathy or understanding of the weight policies and procedures that they put into place. The local management lacks the organizational skills to effectively structure the work environment to make it a place that people enjoy coming to on a daily basis. As a result, work ethic and work morale of the employees suffer, which negatively effects our customers’ experience. Zero consistency amongst local management as far as their interactions with line service technicians and follow through with policies.
