Pros

A creative company working to design educational toys for kids! Over 30 years of experience and established marketplace position in the industry is definitely a plus. For those of you who want to work in a start-up and eat Skittles and popcorn all day, this is not the place. However, if you are interested in gaining professional experience in a business environment with design practices, then I highly recommend. The employees who stay at the company are ones that understand the true nature of getting things done and will excel in their profession.

Cons

You cannot make a toy overnight!

Pros

Having a job was a good thing, not having one less so. The pay was ok, on the surface. Free soda and snacks in the company fridge.

Cons

Everything everyone has said on this site about the owner is spot on accurate. I wish I would have checked on Glassdoor.com before I worked there, it would have saved me a lot of grief. I was hired into a Senior Management role at the company and was promised the world. Within two days it was apparent what the unwritten rules were and I realized that the entire workforce was working under a paralysis of fear. People around the office are generally petrified of the owner who doesn't hesitate to publicly berate you for things that are either not your fault or in some cases totally irrelevant. 10-12 hour work days as the norm, but of course they don't say that when they hire you. You're expected to go along with the program and do more than your fair share as a matter of course with no recognition or even thanks for doing do. Some days were 16+ hours and the normal work day was 12 hours. There were days I worked 16+ hours only to be told we can't take a taxi home that we must walk or deal with it on our own. Working in a warehouse in zero degree temps with no heat. Avoid this place at all costs, it's better to drive Uber and have some self respect and work life balance. The money is the same or greater than what 90% of their employees make.
