Pros

If you enjoy being busy and an ever-changing, cliquey environment, this is the place for you!

Cons

I highly recommend staying as far from this company as possible. One of the most toxic environments there is. It is difficult because you bend over backwards for management and the tenants and there is just no way to win. They have each property manager--managing properties with way too many units for what you get paid. They expect you to be independent but when you start making independent decisions, you are yelled at.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your time with our company. Our father, Tim McKenzie built an incredible company, after his premature passing in 2013 we took on the responsibility of keeping the company and properties going. We are grateful for the opportunities Tim created for us, but I can assure you it isn't the path we thought we would be taking and would give anything to have him back. Everyday we do our best to make our father proud and try to create a positive company culture. While I disagree with your comments, I appreciate your feedback and hope you have found a better employment fit.

Pros

I’ve worked here for about 3.5 years as a Property Manager, and overall it’s been a very positive experience. Being a family-owned business, there’s a strong sense of care and approachability from leadership. Management is helpful and genuinely supportive, especially when it comes to personal needs and work-life flexibility. Compensation is competitive, and there are real opportunities for growth if you’re motivated and willing to take on responsibility. The environment feels collaborative, and leadership is accessible when guidance is needed.

Cons

At times, the workload can become overwhelming, especially during busy periods. Balancing multiple priorities can be challenging, so strong time-management skills are important.

Pros

The people there are super supportive and kind. Work times are extremely flexible (within reason) and were very understanding with conflicts.

Cons

The work could get repetitive.
