Supportive team and good work-life balance, but limited colleagues - Junior Architect T-A Square Employee Review

Good development as a fresh graduate as they will throw you into the deep end early. Met some great designers, all have left for better firms/studios.

Toxic work culture fueled by senior designers, cliques and political suck-ups. Onboarding process is non-existent. Pays well below market rate (in particular Arch graduates) Long hours Forcing junior staff to do work outside of their role (admin work & office duties on-top of your role duties) Projects can be quite boring and repetitive, often taking on odd jobs/low quality clients.

Exposed to projects of different sizes and budgets. Trained to manage projects from start to completion. A good place to start a career, learned a lot both technically and politically.

Overworked and underappreciated. Management treated designers like machines, with no room for negotiations on due dates. Management focused only on bringing in new projects without considering staff availability. The last few months there were emotionally, mentally, and psychologically draining.
