Cons
I was significantly underpaid for the level of responsibility and experience I brought to the role. I left within 60 days and accepted another position that doubled my compensation. I was hired onto a new contract and, based on my experience, often found myself operating at or above the level of the leads; however, leadership and execution felt inconsistent, and the team appeared underprepared for the work, which created unnecessary disorganization.
My recommendation is to ensure compensation aligns with market rates and to avoid making commitments (e.g., multiple raises within a year) unless they are guaranteed and clearly documented. I was hired into a junior (1–3 years) band despite having 7+ years of experience, and I wasn't paid accordingly.
Overall, this may be a reasonable fit for fresh graduates, entry-level professionals, or individuals transitioning out of the military, but it did not feel like a strong long-term opportunity for more experienced candidates due to compensation and contract stability.
