Pros
-Salary base is decent, however variable comp is not the best compensation policy
Cons
I don't want anyone else to go into this firm blindsided so I will discuss my experience: -Very predatory recruiting (I was informally offered the job from the "MD" in my region, without actual interviews). Later I discovered, this was mainly for my connections on LinkedIn - the office was not expanding it's client base, and was looking for hires to quickly fill in the BD gap (I don't think anyone in management knows the turnaround time of a BD sales cycle). -MD had no real regional contacts and was very feeble, not qualified to be an MD. -No pipeline. -Had a really poorly organised remote project (where the client was not aware of my presence) during my time there. Project lacked adherence to basic audit and security protocols. -mandatory fratty drinking culture every 2 weeks. Worked at a well known consultancy precursor and an investment bank before that, and this was very pointless and classless. -round-about internal team meetings that lead to nothing, due primarily to really bad management overseeing -as someone stated, their lack of infrastructure they attribute to being a startup. however they have been around for more than 20 years. their collateral is something out of a high school design class from the early 90s. Also no white papers, no internal staff training. -staff aug projects, defintely not a strategy shop. -BD pursuits and strategy non-existent -No real team atmosphere, my experience there was equivalent to a staffing agency. was let go for "not fitting in" after a few months. Their pipeline was dry, and I was on the bench for 98% of this time.
