Pros

Consistent Supportive and helpful when contacted Online skills and handbook information HR very helpful Commuter reimbursement Medical, Dental, Eye benefits Best thing about this firm was the paid holidays.

Cons

With the exception of my first paycheck I was never required or requested to appear at the main office. During my 5+ years employment I had one contract, no pay increase, no reviews, four account contacts, and approximately 10 on-site visits. There was one Atlanta office meeting, aside from that I didn't even hear a peep out of a soul. Even when I requested a review I was told unless my contract completed the forms I wouldn't get one. When my contract ended abruptly my account manager was completely shocked and claimed he'd work diligently to place me. Before the required "30 day bench" period was over (I think within two weeks actually) he contacted me stating there really wasn't a lot of placements available and if he'd had better notice it would be easier...etc. I never heard from them again. Might have been my contract but I really felt like I was out there on my own most of the time with no support or back up from the company.

Pros

The right long term opportunity at a great client site. Salary's great for the market. Support staff is extremely helpful and responsive to questions and concerns. The account manager makes it a point to communicate frequently and at the same time letting me do my job for the client without too much admin overhead.

Cons

Health coverage and time off. Healthcare coverage for my family is a huge expense per pay and does not cover as much as it could: I still have to pay a lot out of pocket for what the plan does not cover. Time off is limited. 2 wks is std for the industry I suppose, but tough to plan around. For example, there's no time off for jury duty until after 2 years. I had to take time out of my 2 weeks off when I was called. All in all the salary doesn't quite offset as much as I had expected. I would put these are 2 big expenses in the con column and would not make longer term employment tenable.
