Pros
Strong 30+ year history in a relevant tech market. Global presence for wide reach (clients, vendors, industry networks, etc.). Excellent technical teams. In theory, plenty of room to grow and even branch out. Multiple contract vehicles with numerous simultaneous projects. Good, solid ideas put forth by leadership that were often carried into project performance in some capacity.
Cons
Constant climate of fear and uncertainty exacerbated by lack of executive communications. Retention of unqualified leaders in some (but not all) positions that required strength and acumen, yielding underperformance and lowered potential. Pervasive nepotism. Strong pushback against investments in new technologies or techniques, though exceptions were made in certain situations.
