Pros
Let's first get it out there that I love my job itself. I love my customers, I love the labs that I go to, and I love helping people and supporting my customers' patients. Most of your evrryday colleagues care about what they do. Those things are great.
Cons
But at every turn you're micromanaged to death, having to report on minute things to managers who don't even know as much about my job as I do. It'z nanny managers whose focus changes weekly and whose ineffective responses never actually solve problems. The same problems are addressed in inadewuate, ineffective eays yet management always claims success. Growth opportunities are pretty limited unless you're at headquarters.
