Pros
If you read the most recent reviews carefully, staff in the India office who recently found new opportunities are quite happy as the entire company is transitioning job roles overseas wherever possible and there are indeed many new opportunities in that office.
Cons
Over the last 2 years the company has changed from a "fun big startup" "work-hard play hard" environment into a purely profit-driven organization trying to cut costs to appease financial stakeholders. This ultimately comes at the expense of quality services to our customers and the well-being of our employees. This is not the same company it was a few years ago. All of the most talented people onshore have left, been terminated/laid-off, or are one foot out the door. If they haven't found a way to cook up a PIP and terminate you with cause by now, you were probably laid off with a couple months pay in the most recent round of layoffs. Each termination and round of layoffs without backfill increases the responsibilities per employee, and makes it that much easier for management to mark even the best employees as underperforming because they can't fill the job roles of 4-5 people and clients are escalating issues. Working at this place that operates in this manner takes a significant toll on your well-being in a "nothing is ever good enough", "am I getting fired today?" kind of way. The stress response from working in this type of environment will inevitably spill over into your personal life and your friends, family, kids, and significant other will push you to find a new job because they see what is happening to you.
