Pros

They usually pay on time

Cons

This is my opinion. They will lie to you and trick you. They won't promote you if you have an "accent" they don't like. They underbid so low they couldn't even afford to pay off their company cards for months. Their PTO is so little. If I remember correctly, it is 2.5 hrs a month. The upper management is all old white males, and it is going to stay that way for a while.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our company. We appreciate all feedback, even when the feedback may not be factual. Regarding financial management, we continuously review our project bidding processes to ensure we maintain both competitiveness and financial stability. There have been operational adjustments caused by government-directed contract reductions. Our PTO program with industry standards based on locality and labor categories. We recognize this feedback about our PTO program and are currently benchmarking our benefits package against industry standards. We want to clarify that our local leadership team is actually quite ethnically and racially diverse, with representation from various backgrounds and experiences. We were disappointed when you abandoned your position without providing 2 weeks professional notice, but we do wish you success in your future endeavors.

Pros

Cons

Could probably have found a higher salary, but honestly the work-life balance and remote nature of the job outweighed a lot of that.

Pros

Synertex has some of the best leadership I've worked under in the government contracting space. The managers are approachable, transparent, and genuinely care about employee well-being. The organizational culture is positive, and there's a clear sense that the company wants to do right by both its government clients and its employees. Communication is strong, and the team environment is collaborative and mission-focused.

Cons

The most significant downside is compensation. While the company fosters a supportive work environment and has admirable intentions, pay tends to lag behind what is standard for similar roles at other government contractors. Raises and compensation adjustments are modest, even when performance and market conditions might justify more competitive pay

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback about your experience at Synertex. We're genuinely pleased to hear your positive comments about our leadership approach, organizational culture, and collaborative environment. Creating a supportive workplace where employees feel valued and communication flows openly has always been a priority for us. Regarding your concerns about compensation, we appreciate your candor. As a government contractor, our rates are negotiated with government agencies, which can create certain constraints on our compensation structure. However, we want to assure you that we've been actively working to address this challenge. Over the past year, we've implemented several salary increases across the organization as part of our commitment to offering more competitive compensation. We continually review our compensation packages against market standards within the government contracting space, and we're committed to making further adjustments as our contracts and financial position allow. Your feedback reinforces the importance of this ongoing effort. Your advice to management is well-received, and we agree that maintaining our positive culture while improving compensation is the right balance to strike for long-term success. We value your contributions and want to ensure our team members feel fairly compensated for their excellent work. Thank you again for your feedback. We encourage you to discuss specific compensation concerns with your manager, and as we're always open to these important conversations.
