Cons
The owner expects perfection without providing any support or tools to achieve it. He micromanages every individual from those directly below him to the floor worker. He wants to know what everyone is doing every second of the day. He fires anyone who doesn't meet the expectations which he has not clearly communicated. He lacks the basic understanding of how a manufacturing facility works, especially one working under the restraints of FDA requirements. He doesn't understand how human beings work. There is no work life balance, The expectation of every one to work a minimum of 50 hours a week is not explicitly stated, but implicitly expected. If you are hourly, overtime is not tolerated - but the amount of output is still expected to be the equivalent of 50+ hours, especially since hiring additional people is not an option.
