Pros
Swinerton is a large nationwide company, but our office feels more like a family. People genuinely are wanting you to succeed as an employee, but also as a person. As an employee-owned company, if others do well, you also benefit. The culture of transparency, accountability, development, and operational excellence are all reasons I come back each and every day.
Cons
As a smaller/newer office on the East Coast, there is a level of brand recognition not available to us as our counterparts have on the West Coast. It puts a bit more pressure on everyone to excel early and often because any hiccups can cause a bigger disruption operationally or financially than in other locations. The flip side is the large opportunity available to our team when we do succeed together.
