Pros
I have been working with Sweetwater for just over one year. I was hired as a Business Analyst within the IT department. During my first year, I was able to participate in the design and planning of adding software functionality that would accommodate multi-campus ordering. I have been privileged to work with highly intelligent developers, involved department leaders and knowledgable stakeholders. Sweetwater excels at recognizing and promoting people. Even as a new member of the team, I felt that my opinion mattered and I was an active contributor on the project. I have now worked closely with C-level Executives, VP's and the company's President and continue to feel like we are all important players on the same team. Sweetwater employees very much put the customer first and take pride in the ability to deliver quality solutions quickly. I also enjoy working in an evolving industry with people who consistently promote the impact of music in the world. I very much appreciate and take advantage of all the great campus perks, from the on campus diner and cafe to the medical clinic and fitness center and most of all the positive energy and frequent on campus live music.
Cons
The music industry is historically male dominated. I think Sweetwater is taking the appropriate steps to contribute to the evolution of diversity in this industry by providing leadership development opportunities and actively pursuing diverse applicants.
