Pros
The best part about working with Sutter is a handful of supervisors who have both come and gone, were incredibly supportive and caring towards their staff. The ability to focus on a set amount of pts a day and to be free of any potential workplace drama if you are a field clinician. Benefits are also very good.
Cons
Workplace politics remain. Productivity was always hyper focused on for LVN's. The acuity for each pt is different, so it was a bit ridiculous to expect an LVN to meet a 7 pt standard each workday if 4-5 out of those 7 pts were incredibly demanding or difficult, or if the drive time between homes take up to 10-20min. Sometimes 1hr drive. Taking work home and charting after your shift is common, but is frowned upon when getting O.T approved. This ultimately led me to become burned out in this situation.
