Pros
Onsite parking was pretty handy
Cons
Firstly, there are many really good, cool people at Surteco. I resigned in disgust from, without doubt, the most toxic place I have ever worked. A place where sociopathic bullies operate with impunity. Hell bent on making others lives a misery they resort to blatant lying, laying false complaints and open abuse in the workplace to avoid scrutiny, responsibility and accountability. Despised by their colleagues and staff they are aided and abetted by the most incompetent, simpering HR department. These people have hoodwinked senior management who are blind to serious issues and those good people who have had the courage to raise their concerns are targeted and punished. It's nothing short of a disgrace, shows callous disrespect to good staff and is a complete abrogation of their duty of care. There are no career opportunities. Pay is terrible. Culture is broken and unlikely to be salvaged. Diversity is ok but not in management. Senior management, no words, just no words. Work life balance is good. Hardly anyone stays beyond their allotted hours, why would they?
