Pros
The coworkers were genuinely nice and the atmosphere is relaxed. Nice and well-located office. Pay was also higher than standard for a position as Customer Support Manager with no prior experience (but there was a gap between what the role was advertised as and what it actually involved, see cons below). My supervisor was also incredibly helpful and friendly, and took time to onboard and guide me properly.
Cons
The role was significantly misrepresented in the job posting. While the job title was "AI Customer Support Manager", the description did never mention direct customer handling.
The role was advertised as an AI integration position, with the job description referencing Python, NLP, machine learning, and building AI-powered workflows in collaboration with product and engineering teams. In reality, the job was standard customer support with no AI development involved whatsoever.
