Pros
Have a good IT Support team. Responses are quick to the tickets raised. They have a team of support engineers. IT Support teams performance was remarkable while switching to BCP mode after lockdown. I have given 1/5 rating to this company and the '1' rating is exclusively for them.
Cons
HR Dept: One of the worst HR dept that I have ever seen. They are functioning as typical Government offices(even they are serving more better now a days). They lacks professionalism and non responsive to issues and concerns raised by employees. You have to sent mails, multiple remainders and even walk-in to HR cabin multiple times for getting your things done. Exit interviews are just for a formality and they are not showing much interest on listening to outgoing employees problems. In fact they just wanted to know 'where we are going to join'. No employee engagement programmes to motivate employees. Main duty is HR is to give positive reviews to improve rating. And it is quite surprising that already relieved employees employees are being called by HR and asking for the reasons why they moved out of this company. In fact they should have just checked the exit interview form. Development and Implementation Unit: Resources are working under fire. Had to work round the clock(24*7).Managers are agreed to release items without proper discussion. They is no effort estimation and impact analysis for an item to be delivered. These is no process to track the activities. Some of the Architects(Product Experts) are behaving as privileged class and they simply shows their arrogance and ignorance to people those who approached they for any sort of clarifications. Sometimes they are not willing to listen. PDA Unit: Still practicing with old scrapped 'V' model for testing. Resources are giving multiple projects and they are struggling to manage with this. Resources are not given any freedom as they are being micro managed by respective Test Architects. But when the particular resource encountered in a situation between 'devil and deep sea', these Test Architects put all the responsibility in your shoulder and they wash off their hands. Some of the resources are asked to do the activity along with their work which is to be prepared by the Managers itself . They are simply showing their authoritarian attitude and if you question, you are marked as 'under rated' in next appraisal ratings by saying simple reasons such as(not supported in late nights and weekends.) Test Architects are not giving a clear picture to the PDA head. In fact they are communicating to PDA Head with hiding the actual facts and their intention is only to protect themselves. Don't know these Test Architects are even opening the laptop as we seen most of their mails are coming from their Mobile phones. There is no free and fair appraisal practice in PDA. There is no learning opportunity in Testing Unit. Resources are taken as Automation Engineers and but after that you would be assigned to some projects and do manual testing through out your career. If we ask for a team change to automation team, neither team manager nor HR wont respond.
