Pros
You do meet a lot of very nice people working here. And you get your hair done for free basically and great discounts on products and all that. Free water, sodas, etc 24/7 when you work there. Guests too, actually.
Cons
Oh boy. Where do I even begin. So Oliver (the owner) is absolutely not a person you want to surround yourself with. All he likes to talk about are medications you or he is on and jehovah witness stuff. You never know how he will treat you each day he walks in. Receptionists are hardly EVER kept over 3 months, even if they are very good at their job. No idea why. I’m guessing because it’s the end of your “trial” period, and they don’t want to offer you benefits, but honestly I have no idea. He will treat you like you are absolutely amazing unto you reach that point. Then he will hire someone to replace you and push you out until you are forced to quit or just fire you. Oh, and if you happen to get pregnant at any point and time working there as a receptionist, you’re gone. You will be treated so poorly until you quit. This has happened to 2 former employees that I know personally. And also he believes that he is a psychologist and will have weekly talks with you where he “analyzes” your feelings and truly thinks he is a psychologist and knows exactly how you feel and think and what every movement you make means: how you stand, move your hands, move your feet, move your head, your eyes, just your whole body in general he has some sort of insane explanation for all of it. It’s very, very strange. He likes to talk about employees to other employees also. And they bring their 2 standard poodles to work everyday which they call his “therapy dogs” and they are just locked in the office all day. They don’t eat or drink anything unless an employee give them a snack or water or something. And they are never brushed or bathed. It’s really sad. And he likes to talk about how he “disciplines” his dogs.... some of the stories are just horrible. Anyhow, I could go on and on. I would advise you to not bother with this place. They have their prices so high too for just an average job... except SueAnn. She is truly is the best, but a haircut from her is like $100... why? Because she is the owner also. They are married. You will love it at first and think this place is such a great place to work but yet you wonder why you came across the job listing on Craigslist of all places and nowhere else....... a few months in, and you’ll no doubtably understand why. I promise you the place you “love” to work at will not last long. Give it 3 months and see.
