The "manager" is pretty rotten. - Small Parcel Shipper Stusser Electric Employee Review

Pros

They acted against sexual harassment swiftly and intently. Some of the people were great to work with on the daily! Always good humor. Willing to be flexible on a drug test in my case. Most folks in the office act like real people. The GM is a friendly dude. Profit Sharing comes with strings attached, but it is the main reason the more tenured people stay. Pretty diverse cast of people working there! From MMA gal to bass-playing viking to some very proud Hawaiians. Super cool.

Cons

Manager is a clown. Dude loves mocking folks younger than him, has unreasonable expectations of what constitutes safety. Openly plays favorites with folks (bought a horrid employee concert tickets to go hang out with her? Weird) Manager is also the "manager" and HR. You can imagine the ethical conflict. He threatens to fire you over the discussions of wages - that's literally federally illegal. He makes his leads repeat this, too. They exclusively hire warehouse staff via staffing companies. This accomplishes two things: -For the 6 months probationary period you do not gain tenure for profit sharing. Despite doing the mandatory overtime requires to finalize said profit sharing. - They obscure how they hand it out. They play favorites, naturally. So you never know what to expect. I've had some of the office folks admit they can only work there consistently due to having partners with good jobs. "Feast or famine" were one's exact words. -They don't raise wages because they wave the carrot of the profit sharing. Even if you've proven capable in multiple roles. - Repairs aren't a thing until absolutely necessary because it eats into profit sharing. They openly admit they rely on "tribal knowledge", and all of the training is done slap-dash. They only documentation available were written by previous employees. Not management or professionals. Just a side-task. They just let anyone drive trucks and forklifts. Nothing is bolted down in the warehouse, too. Plenty of dings and crashes. They even hired a delivery driver for about 3 months before they realized he has had his license removed 3 times. This man was driving large vehicles. I could go on.
