Pros

Have been working at Stripe OLT for 13+ years now. Directors are driven, with clear goals for the business. Staff are important to them as made apparent by very generous policies including pension, holiday schemes and health cover. Regular social events at the Bristol office, including 'Free Food Friday", with a very generous annual summer and Xmas event. New technologies and improvements are always sought making the work interesting and often rewarding.

Cons

Often very busy (but this should be expected for the salary), which can be stressful.

Pros

Began working at StripeOLT on 28/06/22, and from then until now, it’s been an absolute pleasure. There’s a lot of knowledge across many techs—working side by side with the Service Desk and SOC. Anyone from any department can ping each other a message to solve an issue. Not just colleagues, but cherished friends—all truly some of the best and kindest people I've met. Smart troubleshooters by day, then unwinding in the pub after. The directors here are real and understanding—you can speak to them without it ever feeling like you can't. Really, there's a lot of good I could say. We're a good and strong family, and I hope you join. You get what you put in.

Cons

I'll leave that for our one to ones

Pros

Working at Stripe OLT has been a great journey. I'm based in Bristol but working remotely, I've felt genuinely supported every step of the way. The company strikes as great balance between independence and connection. Offering engaging events that bring everyone together and regular training to keep us sharp and growing. Their commitment to professional development and team culture truly sets them apart

Cons

One mild challenge of working at Stripe OLT can be the remote setup. It occasionally makes spontaneous collaboration or quick check-ins a bit more structured than they might be in a traditional office. The company does encourage members of staff to attend the office as well as company events to bridge the gap.
