Pros
The only pro I can give is that it was great working with my co-workers, but I cannot say the same about the management.
Cons
- 70% of the company left due to the new CEO during my two years here. He micromanages employees, having them log every hour of work that they do. Meanwhile, he has a severe lack of technical and business knowledge. This is all made worse by his anger management issues.
- Management often cuts corners, even going as far as to incorrectly store a client's data in a way that explicitly goes against one of the client's contracts. This is, at the very least, grossly negligent, if not completely illegal.
- Given these two points above, I cannot consider SSI to be a legitimate software company. If an employee at a more professional company continually did any of the many poor practices that are done here, they would likely be let go.
