Pros

Global leader and a reputation for great products and innovations. Good Benefits

Cons

- Reputation for high turnover. - Top down management style ("do this or else"). Their Cultural journey is really a bogus way to call people a "victim" if they don't comply and believe 100% in every process, product, or solution. - Quick to give up on people - Managers are not coaches or leaders, but more like dictators

Straumann Group Response

Hi there, thank you for your review even if this is not what we love to read. Sorry to hear that you made such negative experiences at our company. The last thing we want to see here are "victims" - you remember that we invest big in our cultural journey - for most of our colleagues it's not a bogus. And - sorry to say - questioning existing things does not qualify you as a victim. This is what we need to improve, to reach the next level. And it is what we try to reach with our cultural journey initiative. We don't want robots who are doing what they are told to do. It is our way to empower our people. And this is a win-win situation. Our colleagues grow on a personal level and that helps us to grow as a company. If you like to please share more details about your experiences with me. I would like to learn where we might have room to improve. Drop me a message at marcus.fischer@straumann.com. Thank you for that in advance and for your next career step all the best and the biggest success! Greetings from Basel Marcus --- Team Talent Acquisition Straumann Group

Pros

Great coworkers, clean facility, professional environment, good training, and meaningful work.

Cons

I worked at Straumann and enjoyed many of the people I worked with, but prospective employees should understand that job security may not be as stable as it initially appears. Management often spoke positively about the future, yet our team was ultimately affected by a layoff due to business decisions. My experience was that communication regarding long-term stability was inconsistent, which made it difficult to plan for the future. If you’re considering a position here, I would recommend asking detailed questions about business outlook, workforce planning, and how the company has handled layoffs in the past. While everyone’s experience may differ, I think it’s important for candidates to be aware that organizational changes can happen unexpectedly.
